Tunisia: Nearly 5,000 citizens vaccinated by military teams in Medenine

Military security official Imen Gharsallah told Tunisie Numérique today that approximately 5,000 citizens have been vaccinated by military teams. Gharsallah affirmed that most of those vaccinated were elderly people, pointing out that many residents summoned did not go to the vaccination centres which stopped the military from achieving the desired object: the vaccination of 10,000 people against the Coronavirus.

She further stated that the teams responsible for carrying out the vaccination operations had faced numerous difficulties, including the outbreak of infection in several areas, particularly in Béni Khedech.
