Tunisia-Neji Jalloul: There are no political parties in Tunisia

National Coalition leader Neji Jalloul believed that there are no political parties in Tunisia and that the single real party during history was the Socialist Destourien Party.

Speaking on the airwaves of radio, Jalloul revealed that the Ennahdha is only a religious sect, Qalb tounes is a charity and Nida Tounes is simply a reaction in the reign of Ennahdha. The other political parties only represent associative structures.
On another aspect, he stated the fact that President Kaies Saied was elected in the second round with 72.7% of the vote. According to him, this is a true lack of Tunisian political culture, emphasising that voters must take accountability for their choice.
The politician called for a national dialogue to establish a new democracy.
