Tunisia- New agreement between CNAM and private sector doctors enters into force today

A new sectoral agreement regulating the contractual relationship between the national health insurance fund (CNAM) “ and doctors in the private sector was approved on Tuesday, November 3, 2020, by the Minister of Social Affairs, Mohamed Trabelsi, the director-general of  ( CNAM), Habib Toumi, and the president of the Tunisian Union of Private Sector Doctors, Samir Chtourou. This new agreement, which succeeds the old agreement dating from 2006, will come into force, as of today, November 4, 2020, over a period of one year.
