Tunisia-New batch of aid to Palestinian people sent by Tunisia

The Tunisian Ambassador to Egypt, Mohamed Ben Youssef, reported on Monday, December 4, 2023, that the C-130 military aircraft that departed from Tunis on the previous day to repatriate injured Palestinians also carried a significant quantity of aid for the Palestinian people.

Ambassador Mohamed Ben Youssef confirmed, in a statement to Radio Mosaïque, that the aid includes medicines, medical equipment, infant milk, and foodstuffs.

Bouthaina Karakba, spokesperson for the Tunisian Red Crescent, added that a second group of injured Palestinians will be brought back to Tunisia. She stated that out of the 29 injured individuals who arrived in Tunisia, 20 require urgent surgical intervention and psychological treatment due to the war’s effects.
