Tunisia-New distribution of parliamentary blocs

The office of the House of People’s Representatives adopted, this Friday, October 2, the distribution of parliamentary blocks for the year 2020-2021, during a joint meeting with the presidents of the blocks.

The new distribution of the blocks is as follows:

  • Ennahdha’s bloc: 54 deputies
  • The democratic bloc: 38 deputies
  • Qalb Tounes bloc: 30 deputies
  • The al-Karama Coalition bloc: 18 deputies
  • The National Reform bloc: 17 deputies
  • The free Destourien bloc: 16 deputies
  • The national bloc: 16 deputies
  • Tahya Tounes’ bloc: 10 deputies
  • Independent Members: 18

This distribution will be taken into account in terms of the distribution of responsibilities and tasks within parliamentary committees, according to office spokesperson Nesrine Ameri
