Tunisia-New measures announced by the government

Government spokeswoman Hasna Ben Slimane announced today that the lockdown will conclude on the 16th with an exemption for travel between regions.

From May 17th, the following measures will come into force:

  • Curfew from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • New measures for cafes and restaurants
  • Reopening of mosques with the application of the health protocol
  • Reopening of all commercial spaces with the application of the health protocol
  • Resumption of courses in schools, colleges and high schools (group system)
  • Resumption of courses in faculties and opening of university dorms
  • Compulsory Quarantine for arrivals from abroad
