A medical team successfully carried out the implantation of a percutaneous pulmonary valve without surgical intervention on Wednesday in an 11-year-old child suffering from complicated congenital heart disease in a private clinic in Tunis.
Cardiologist and member of this medical team Dhaker Lahidheb told the TAP that this child suffers from a congenital heart disease which caused heart failure needing medical intervention without surgery.
He revealed that the medical team is made up of cardiologists Dhaker Lahidheb and Abdejalil Farhati and surgeon Noomène Abid as well as anesthesiologist Naoufel Abderrahim.
