Tunisia-Night protests: Ennahdha calls Mechichi to tell the truth to Tunisians

The executive office of the Ennahdha party has communicated its firm condemnation of the acts of pillage, vandalism and attacks on private and public properties in many parts of the nation, calling on the demonstrators not to enable malicious people to make them forget their true rights and participate in acts of sabotage and violence.

 

It additionally denounced the hate speech carried by certain political parties and certain suspicious pages. In the same context, the party called on the prime minister to tell the truth to Tunisians about the recent night protests, conduct the needed investigations, protect public and private property and apply the law to all violators.

Ennahda also announced its backing for the cabinet reshuffle proposed by Prime Minister Hichem Mechichi, with the purpose of enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of government work. The Islamist party also expressed its profound concern at the high number of infections and deaths due to the pandemic, calling on all citizens to respect health provisions and preventive measures, in the hope of obtaining the vaccine against the Covid on as quickly as possible.
