Tunisia-Nissaf Ben Alaya calls Tunisians to respect health measures so that the situation does not degenerate

Speaking to Mosaique FM, official spokesperson of the health ministry Dr Nissaf Ben Alaya assured that the coronavirus curve is growing and has not yet reached the peak.

Ben Allaya added that the data reported, during the evaluation of the measures taken by the scientific committee for about 3 weeks, showed that the number of cases has not diminished, either because the measures taken are not effective or they are not properly respected. She also indicated that the data reached the ministry proves that the distancing measures and the wearing of masks were not respected, she stated.
She also indicated that the scientific committee considered that it was necessary to impose new measures, announced by the presidency of the government on Thursday, October 29, emphasising that the only solution to contain the epidemic is to respect these measures for fifteen days.
Ben Allaya called on Tunisians to respect health measures so that the situation does not degenerate. “We have reached a red line and we must stop this growing curve in the spread of the coronavirus,” she concludes.
