Tunisia-Nissaf Ben Alaya: More 90 % of People infected with COVID-19 Are Asymptomatic

Director of the National Observatory of New and Emerging Diseases Nissaf Ben Alaya  said on Wednesday August 19, 2020 that more than 90% of covid-19 patients in Tunisia are asymptomatic, noting that most of these patients are between the ages of 15 and 65.

In a statement  to Shems FM, Ben Alaya added that the health department has stepped up the process of actively investigating infected cases that may cause further circles of infection in areas where the epidemic has spread, including , Gabès, El Hamma, Sousse, Sidi Bouali, Masaken, El Kef, Tataouine and Kairouan
