The spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, Nissaf Ben Alaya confirmed, this Friday, October 2, 2020, that the health situation in Tunisia has become dangerous especially with the recording, recently, of more than 1000 infections daily, in addition to the account of 20 clusters.
She added that the number of coronavirus clusters is on the rise and the non-application of health prevention measures will have several social and economic repercussions in addition to the risk of not being able to provide treatment to patients. She stressed the need to implement strict preventive measures in restaurants, cafeterias, etc., to overcome this crisis.
At the same time, she expressed her understanding of the concerns of medical teams who fear the exhaustion of ICE beds which will force them to choose between patients.
