Tunisia-Nissaf Ben Alaya: New imported COVID-19 cases might be starting point for a new wave of Spread

Director of the National Observatory of New and Emerging Diseases Nissaf Ben Alaya said that the COVID-19 pandemic might spread again due to the non-respect of preventive measures which includes social distancing and wearing masks. She warned of the possibility of not detecting imported cases that have contracted the virus.

Tunisia is in the last stage of the  epidemiological transition but the new cases might be the starting point for a new wave of infection spread, she said in a press conference
