Tunisia – Nissaf Ben Alaya raises the alarm over disastrous third wave of COVID-19

The director-general of the observatory of new and emerging diseases Nissaf Ben Alaya confirmed on Monday that the services of the ministry are in the process of sequencing the viruses identified in Kasserine. She added that they are worried that it is the British strain.

She stressed that will be difficult to contain this and there could be a devastating third wave of the pandemic which would lead to the downfall of the national health system.
