Tunisia-Nissaf Ben Alaya : We are conducting about 17,000 tests per week

Speaking to Nessma TV, Director of the National Observatory of New and Emerging Diseases and official spokesman of the health ministry  Nissaf Ben Alaya related that the ministry of health is conducting about 17,000 COVID-19 tests per week.
She pointed out that the number of analyzes increased, as a single laboratory was responsible for conducting them. however, the number of laboratories involved in the process has increased to about 18 informants.

She stressed, nevertheless, that needs are growing with the increase of infection episodes, in addition to a shortage of the technical team accompanied by a number of machines malfunctioning due to pressure and high demand.
