Tunisia-Nissaf Ben Alaya:40 days needs to pass without any COVID-19 infections in order for the situation to be stable

Director of the National Observatory of New and Emerging Diseases Nissaf Ben Alaya asserted that Tunisia needs to record 40 days with any COVID-19 infections in order to describe the situation as stable.

Speaking at a press conference she addressed strengthening the health monitoring system, adding that the virus is still present in the world , which signifies a threat.

The risk are high since the evacuation of Tunisian nationals continue, she pointed out.

She stressed that recording three days without any infections doesn’t mean the virus vanished.
