Tunisia-Nissaf Ben Alya:Any reversal in implementation of measures will have negative outcomes , similar to what happened in European countries

 

Speaking to Tunisie Numérique,Director of the National Observatory of New and Emerging Diseases and official spokesman of the health ministry  Nissaf Ben Alaya dismissed news of recording a decrease in the tally of infections and deaths, indicating a rise in the number of patients admitted to ICU department

Dr Alaya stressed that any withdrawal or leniency in the application of measures will have negative outcomes, similar to what happened in the European countries, which registered a return in the spreading of COVID-19  after feasting some events during the past period.

She pointed out in the same context, that the Coronavirus Commission will meet next Wednesday under the chairmanship of prime minister Hichem Mechichito to examine the measures that will be taken, emphasising that the Scientific Committee believes that it is not permissible to raise the measures that have been taken and advises to maintain their implementation.
