Tunisia: Nizar Ben Neji’s promise regarding 5G

Minister of Communication Technologies, Nizar Ben Néji, reported to the House of People’s Representatives on Monday, November 27, 2023, that the communications sector comprises one of the pillars of socio-economic development and that it plays a critical role in providing basic services such as education, employment, money transfer, etc.

Ben Néji also asserted that his department is preparing to launch the fifth generation of mobile telephone networks (5G) in 2024, reports Mosaïque fm. This standard guarantees a quality of service superior to 4G, in terms of speed, latency and connectivity, according to him.
