The Ministry of National Defense declared malicious rumours about the use of Tunisia as a starting point for military operations for Foreign powers as baseless and reckless assertions attempting to undermine Tunisia’s sovereignty and national security.
In an issued statement, they affirmed that Tunisia exerts complete sovereignty over all lands, sea and air and does not allow any foreign forces to use its lands to carry out military operations. They added that deployed troops are carrying their duty to protect the homeland and preserve the integrity of its soil.
