Tunisia-Noureddine Taboubi speaks with PM Bouden

UGTT Secretary-General Noureddine Taboubi called today, October 11, 2021,  new prime minister Najla Bouden to congratulate her. Mr Taboubi told her that the UGTT is optimistic about the formation of a government capable of exploring the accumulated files and the problems exacerbated during the exceptional period.

He further underlined “the UGTT ‘s concern for the continuity of the state and called for following up on all the state’s engagements with the UGTT”. Stating in the same context, that the UGTT can only be proactive when the administration respects its promises and commitments.

For her part, Ms Bouden communicated her satisfaction with this call, confirming her solid conviction of the significance of the union and of its role, especially with regard to pushing government action towards achieving positive results. in all current cases.

The two sides affirmed the continuity of relationships between the government and the UGTT over the coming period.
