Tunisia- Observatory of Transparency and Good Governance denounces U.S interference in Tunisia’s internal affairs

The Observatory of Transparency and Good Governance condemned the U.S interference in Tunisia believing that it exploits the decline of the economic situation to put pressure on the Tunisian government. It cautioned against these actions which aim to push Tunisia towards normalization with the Zionist entity and to plunge the country into confrontations which do not serve its interests.

The observatory further called for the necessity to initiate legal proceedings for treason against any Tunisian political party or organization that calls for foreign interference in the affairs of Tunisia. According to the same statement, it reaffirmed its adherence to national values and its concern to secure the sovereignty and independence of the country.

It called on all national actors to join their ranks against the dangers that jeopardise the integrity and sustainability of the State. It proposed to the President of the Republic, Kais Saied, to launch an inclusive dialogue bringing together all the organizations, parties and political figures who are not implicated in corruption cases, with a view to forming a national front which would work to bring out the country of this impasse.
