The primary syndicate of the oil company “OMV” affiliated to the UGTT declared a three-day strike which is set to begin tomorrow with the halt of production at Tunis, Gabès and Tataouine sites.
The decision comes after the failure of the settlement session at the general labour inspectorate in Tunis which did not take into record the notice of the threat of strike issued by the UGTT. It was confronted with the stance of management adhering to its rejection of reinstating workers in their previous positions.
