The National Bar Association of Tunisia (ONAT) pronounced itself against “any form of normalisation” with the Zionist entity, calling for the prosecution of the officials whose involvement is proven in these acts of “high treason.”
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Bar Association estimated that participation in regional and international competitions alongside Israeli athletes “has nothing to do with the defence of the national flag,” calling for the introduction of a law criminalising normalisation with the Israeli State.
“Boycotting the Zionist entity and supporting the just Palestinian cause “is the best solution,” the ONAT said in the same statement.
