One more case of infection with COVID-19 have been announced on May 19, 2020, taking the total number of infections to 1,044, the Ministry of Health announced. The death toll also rose to 47.
The ministry indicated in a statement, “Following a total of 869 lab tests, 10 cases tested positive, of which 1 were new cases and 9 were previously confirmed cases who were still infected with this virus. Recoveries also rose to 826.
Moreover, 171 are still active cases and under monitoring, while three are hospitalized.
The Ministry, therefore, urged citizens to fully respect the law and comply with the measures of isolation and targeted lockdown across all the regions including permission to move. Citizens are also urged to apply health measures from washing hands, social distancing, wearing maks and avoid crowds.
