Tunisia-Oran: Talks between Nabil Ammar and Algerian counterpart

Algerian Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf engaged in bilateral talks with his Tunisian counterpart, Nabil Ammar, on the sidelines of the high-level conference on peace and security in Africa, held in Oran, western Algeria.

As outlined in a press release from the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, these meetings provided an opportunity to evaluate the cooperative and fraternal relations between Algeria and Tunisia. Further, the discussions aimed to review the progress completed within the framework of the Oran process, which aims to consolidate the voice of the African continent and enhance its influence in the UN Security Council.

During the talks, Nabil Ammar praised Algeria’s enduring commitment to its African roots, a commitment reflected in initiatives like the Oran process. He recognised the efforts made by Algeria to champion African issues and aspirations on the international stage within this context.
