Tunisia – Organ trafficking case: New arrests

The inquiry into the gang specializing in organ trafficking operating between Tunisia and Turkey has identified the leader of the gang who is in Turkey, as well as six of his intermediaries operating in Tunisia, including two foreign nationals and four Tunisians.

Following a simultaneous intervention by agents from the national guard districts of Fouchana, Sousse, Mahdia, Grombalia and Feriana, the four Tunisian intermediaries were arrested, along with three other people who travelled abroad and donated their organs.
