During the examination of the budget of the Ministry of Agriculture at the parlimant , today Saturday, MP Imed Ouled Jebril assessed that Tunisia had not developed a clear strategy for agriculture, especially that which adapts to the new climatic situation and the needs of global markets.
He requested the Minister of Agriculture to reform the sector’s legislation so that the ministry can fulfil its role which relates to the country’s national security.
Ouled Jebril wondered about the cow herd which has shrunk in recent years, especially during the time of a former minister whose policy was catastrophic and contributed to the impoverishment of the Tunisian people, according to him.
