Tunisia-Oussema Khlifi: We apologize to the Tunisian people

Speaking at today plenary session,Qalb Tounes parliamentary bloc leader Oussema Khlifi extended his apologies to the Tunisian people and security units during  “We apologize to the Tunisian people because we did not possess the chance to speak for a whole year in which we were buried in work,” said the deputy.

“We likewise apologize to the police who discovered themselves alone to fight the recent protests and we apologize to the people because we have not forced on Parliament the priority of fighting poverty, unemployment and hunger, and we have opened the door to those who desire to overthrow Parliament and prepare their political and electoral campaigns. ” he continued.

 

He added that the political class today solicits to satisfy its own interests and pays no attention to those of young people and the people. In the same context, he called on political parties to uphold national unity and foster a constructive discourse on their possible rise in the opinion polls.
