Tunisia-Over 420,000 people registered on Evax platform

423,101 people have enrolled on the online platform devoted to the national COVID-19 vaccination campaign, Head of the Steering Committee for the National COVID-19 Vaccination Campaign and member of the Scientific Committee to Combat the Coronavirus Hechmi Louzir told TAP agency.

This number is short, he concluded, calling on all citizens to join this campaign.

“Given that vaccination is voluntary and that people cannot be obliged to do it, we are relying on the citizens’ awareness of the significance of this vital preventive gesture to protect their health,” he emphasised.

Louzir indicated that an awareness campaign about the importance to register will be launched soon.
