Tunisia: Oxygen concentrators for personal or family use exempt from customs taxes

The General Directorate of Customs has affirmed that all actions related to medical equipment and materials are carried out in complete and immediate coordination between the Ministry of Health and the Tunisian Union of Social Solidarity.

The speaker explained that any Tunisian citizen living abroad can import an oxygen concentrator for personal or family use, exempt from fees and taxes.

Donations of health and medical equipment and materials are further given to the Ministry of Health and the Tunisian Union of Social Solidarity through simplified procedures which are based only on a donation certificate indicating the value of the equipment provided.
