Tunisia-Parliament condemns the violence committed by Seif Eddine Makhlouf against Abir Moussi

The second vice-president of the House of People Representatives of the People, Tarek Fetiti chaired, Thursday, November 5, 2020, the parliament office meeting dedicated to the consideration of the items stipulated in the agenda.

After reviewing the correspondence of the Inter-Parliamentary Union regarding a complaint lodged by the president of the Free Destourian Party Abir Moussi as well as the evidence presented by her, the office of the Parliament considered Seif Eddine Makhlouf’s actions as violence. It, consequently, decided to condemn these actions.

MP Seif Eddine Makhlouf verbally assaulted MP Abir Moussi and Tahya Tounes bloc leader Mustapha Ben Ahmed during the parliament bureau meeting on October 19.
