Two plenaries sessions will take place on July 1 and 8 in Parliament for the election of the president of the Access to Information Body and the three remaining members of the Constitutional Court, declared the assessor of the president of the Parliament and in charge of information, Maher Madhioub during a press briefing held on Thursday, June 17, 2021.
The plenary session of July 8 will be headed by another on June 29 during which the MPs will debate the rejection of the President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, to promulgate the law on the Constitutional Court, adopted in the second reading on May 4, 2021, after the amendment. Articles 10, 11 and 12 of the Organic Law of 2015 establishing this body.
The July 8 session will likewise be dedicated to the election of members of the Body for Good Governance and the Fight against Corruption.
