Several Parliament deputies voiced their indignation this morning within the assembly, accusing certain parties of desiring to sabotage the voting and validation process of the bill criminalizing normalization with the Zionist entity.
They confirmed that instead of voting, the president of the assembly recommended that they vote on a request presented by certain deputies, to postpone the study of the bill. Although this request was not on the agenda for today’s meeting. What these deputies considered to be a breach of the Parliament code.
The deputies demanded an immediate vote on the bill, and declared themselves against all tries to sabotage this law. They added that the deputies stick to this position which echoes the desire of the Tunisian people to criminalize any normalization with the Zionist entity.
These deputies denied the thesis of those who accuse them of wanting to rush the vote too much, without taking the opinion of the parties concerned, asserting that they have tried multiple times to convene these parties, without results.
