Tunisia-Parliament:Hearings on tourism revenues

The parliamentary tourism committee revealed yesterday, Thursday, September 21, that it had decided to hold hearings on tourism revenues.

In a press release made public, the commission clarifies that these hearing sessions will involve the different parties concerned in the tourist activity, including the Central Bank, Tunisair, the CTN as well as the two federations representing professionals in the profession.

As of September 10, 2023, tourism revenue reached a record figure of 5.4 billion, reports the Ministry of Tourism.

Since the beginning of the year, Tunisia has welcomed 6.232 million non-residents, an increase of 62.4% compared to the same period of the previous year.
