Tunisia-PDL demonstration at Kasbah

The PDL declared today through a statement that it will organize this Saturday, November 20 from 9:30 a.m. a demonstration in front of the government palace in Kasbah in order to condemn the impunity of the Muslim brothers, which enabled them to reorganize their ranks.

It additionally called for the cleaning of the electoral environment, in particular by freezing the bank accounts of Islamists and bringing them to justice, calling on the National Counterterrorism Commission (CNLCT) to entirely play its role.

The party further returned to the necessity to control the funding of associations active for political purposes. It moreover emphasised the need to take all necessary steps to guarantee the impartiality and independence of the Independent Higher Authority for Elections (ISIE) with a view to dissolving Parliament and organizing early elections soon.
