Tunisia-PDL protest in front of the Ministry of Religious Affairs

Members of the Free Destourien Party (PDL), led by their leader Abir Moussi, assembled and manifested, this Saturday, December 12, 2020, in front of the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

A mobilization planned to demonstrate against the International Union of Muslim scholars (UISM) knowing that the PDL had declared a few weeks ago a set of protest movements within this framework.

These protests come in answer to the Tunis 1 Court of First Instance, which in November rejected the party’s lawsuit to suspend IUSM activities in Tunisia.

But Abir Moussi had vowed protests to be organized by the PDL. Today, protesters have launched numerous slogans claiming to be “Muslims, not terrorists”.
