Tunisia-PDL warns the presidency of the republic following Erdogan visit

The Destourian Party “PDL “promptly issued a severe warning to the presidency of the republic following Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan unscheduled visit to Tunisia.

The party uttered its profound surprise that the information services of the Presidency of the Republic didn’t announce Erdogan visit following the standard protocols, justly condemning that the public had to know through Turkish media.

.
The party inquired the Presidency to carefully foster transparency in the domain of foreign policy, to precisely define the decisions exercised in this regard and to properly notify the public about these sovereign issues.

It also cautioned the Presidency not to take any step or measure in the official name of the Tunisian people involving the Libyan file which would signify a marked departure from the constants of Tunisian foreign policy which is based on the policy of non-interference in the internal affairs of States and not to connect Tunisia in international or regional axes and dispute that could harm national sovereignty and Tunisian national security.
