Tunisia [Photo]Ariana: Houses and schools submerged by rains

Roads, schools and homes in Ariana completely submerged in the rain of last night, demonstrating once again that it simply takes a few drops of rain to expose the state of infrastructure in all parts of the country, including, in Grand Tunis.

As the photos reveal, at the governorate of Ariana from the poorest districts such as the city of Ennassim, to the comparatively wealthy cities such as the new Ariana, through the housing of the middle classes in the city of Ennozha , all were flooded by showers of rain.

Admittedly the anarchic constructions, the refusal of waste in the evacuation canals and the non-respect of the urban development plans, worsens the situation, but the neglect of the State stays to be the principal cause of this revolting situation, in special in a city so close to the capital.
