Tunisia-[Photos] Zarzis: Owners of cafes and restaurants protest

The owners of cafes and restaurants in Zarzis (governorate of Medenine) this morning protested in front of the seat of the municipality to express their rejection to apply the general lockdown imposed yesterday by the governor.

They characterised this decision as “hasty” and which does not take into record their interests.

Protesters challenged figures announced by authorities, maintaining most of the positive tests are from citizens from other regions.

The City Council will soon hold a meeting to find answers to this problem and clarify the figures announced by the regional health directorate.
