Dozens of components of civil society in Sousse travelled to Tunis to organize a demonstration rally outside the Italian embassy to command the retrieval of the waste to the country of origin.
In a symbolic gesture, the demonstrators carried garbage bags full of flowers.
It should be noted that the Italian judicial authorities ordered the company which exported the waste to bring it back from Tunisia.
