Tunisia-[Photos]Targeted lockdown extended in Mahdia

The Regional Disaster Control Committee held a meeting today Friday, July 23, 2021, under the direction of the Governor of Mahdia Abdelfattah Chachouk and in the attendance of the Secretary-General of the Governorate, MPs, members of the regional committee and heads of national organizations.

Based on the examination of the progression of the epidemiological situation, the regional committee decided as follows:

  • 1- Extension of the application of targeted lockdown measures in the governorate for a period of 10 days, from July 26, 2021, till August 04, 2021
  • Strengthening the monitoring of the implementation of the ban on travel between the governorates.
  • Placing private health establishments for the profit of the Regional Directorate of Health of Mahdia.

It was furthermore decided to keep the committee in permanent session to take the needed measures according to the evolution of the epidemiological situation.
