Tunisia-[Photos]:Unemployed doctors assaulted by police

The unemployed doctors were struck by the police yesterday, November 30, 2020, declared the Tunisian coordination of doctors and doctoral researchers. According to the same source, the police even employed tear gas and two protestors were taken to the hospital.

As a reminder, since June 29, 2020, unemployed doctors have observed a sit-in at the headquarters of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

An initiative directed at encouraging the supervisory authority to address their pending files as promptly and to take strong and exceptional resolutions likely to “enhance the skills of our country”, revealed the coordinator of unemployed doctors from universities in Grand-Tunis, Sirine Saidi.
