Tunisia-Plenary session kicks-off

The House of People’s Representatives is holding today a plenary session on Tuesday to examine exceptional measures enabling for the continuity of parliamentary action, a statement said.
The parliament bureau accepted the initiative for the application of exceptional measures. The decision presents the adoption of the required measures in order to ensure the continuity of work in Parliament for one month. This procedure is renewable twice by a decision of the board. Priority will be given to the analysis of bills, priority issues, those linking to the financing of the budget and the economy, bills, issues related to the epidemiological situation and securing the continuity of work state apparatus.
The decision also incorporates measures relating to the organization and conduct of plenary sittings, interventions by MPs and votes, points of order and the possibility of organizing meetings remotely.
