Prime Minister-designate Habib Jemli will begin consultations to form the new government today, he expressed his openness to all political parties and national organization regardless of their political affiliation, negotiations are set to last one month. Jemli said. “Tunisians were patient enough and the youth are frustrated. It is time they can see hope and light at the end of the tunnel.”
In a statement to the TAP agency, Jemli asserted the need to reform the economy and bring hope to frustrated youth as he regarded this chance to be the last in saving the course of the revolution.
In the same context, he pointed out that his government priorities will focus on fighting price inflation , improve living conditions, services, health and education. He added that they will concentrate on settling public institutions that suffers extreme difficulties due to political conflict over positions.
If Jemli cannot form a government within two months, the president can ask another to try. If that fails and the deadlock persists, there will be another election.
