The PM stressed that this call is a disregard for the vital stability of the state’s institutions and the country’s economy that has been drained by the COVID-19  and the aggravation of its structural crises,” adding that “these calls confirm the absence of responsibility at this crucial stage that necessitates institutions and components of the coalition to strengthen solidarity, synergy and prevailing the country highest interest.

The Prime Minister asserted that he made “numerous and reiterated efforts during the past weeks to establish the pillars of the government coalition, but these efforts crashed with parallel and unsuccessful endeavours by the Ennahda movement directed at introducing fundamental modifications in its form and its process of working, in a way that undermines its harmony and its will to cut with the past in the country’s governance.
