Prime Minister Hichem Mechichi, on Thursday, extended condolences to the family and relatives of trade unionist and former minister Ahmed Ben Salah, during the tribute passed at the Djellaz cemetery.
Ben Salah, who passed away on Wednesday at the age of 94, was admitted to the military hospital in Tunis, on September 11.
PM Mechichi, Parliament Speaker Rached Ghannouchi and Secretary-General of the Tunisian General Labour Union (UGTT) Noureddine Taboubi came to his bedside.
