Prime minister Hichem Mechichi paid an unexpected visit to Tunis-Carthage airport during which he called for the strengthening of preventive health measures for arrivals in Tunisia,
Mr Mechichi, in this context, highlighted insufficient prevention measures at the airport, estimating that this poses a risk to the health of the employees. He further emphasised the necessity to carry out more rapid tests for passengers and to confirm their PCR tests.
The head of government similarly denounced that people who tested positive left the airport, without special measures being taken against them.
