Tunisia-PM Mechichi meets MPs from Qalb Tounes

Prime Minister Hichem Mechichi received today March 26, 2021, a delegation from Qalb Tounes bloc at Kasbah government palace.

The PM said during the meeting that his administration approach is common with Qalb Tounes in the fight against administrative bureaucracy, the battle against poverty and anything that would hinder economic initiative and investment chances.

He also called for a reply to what he called “the destructive and deleterious rhetoric” that hit all investment-related and all those capable to perform and initiate.

Mechichi concluded by emphasising the need to respect the independence of the judiciary over the case of Qalb Tounes party leader.

He also affirmed a watch over the guarantee of this independence and its fight against any try to interfere in the course of judicial work in order to enshrine the principles of “the rule of law”.
