Tunisia -PM Youssef Chahed comment on Esperance Tunis and Wydad Casablanca crisis

Prime minister Youssef Chahed properly expressed his evident disappointment over the CAF “The Confederation of African Football” decision to have a replay match between Esperance Tunis and Wydad Casablanca.

Disturbed and angered over the CAF reasoning, Chahed took over Facebook, where he respectfully saluted security forces who established themselves as a role model to follow. He further warned that those who question Tunisia’s security will have to assume responsibility.

Furthermore, he hailed fans for their admirable self-control and discipline during the match. Chahed promised that the state will not give up on the rights of Esperance and other Tunisian teams. He concluded his message stating that Tunisians stands together as one.

Youssef Chahed was present at the final match at Rades Stadium and promptly handed the trophy to Esperance‘s caption Khalil Chemmam.CAF’s president Ahmad  Ahmad was also present.
