Tunis Survey, a specialist in online surveys and digital studies, has just uncovered the results of its popularity barometer of the 3 presidents.
This barometer is based on a self-administered online survey that took place from April 7 to 13, 2021. Its goal is to assess the satisfaction of Tunisian Internet users with the performance of the 3 presidents: Kaïs Saïed, Rached Ghannouchi and Hichem Mechichi.
It should be remembered that during the eleventh wave of the barometer, respondents’ satisfaction with each of the three presidents was as follows.
For this tenth wave, the sample size after the screening is 1890 respondents
Rached Ghannouchi: Still unpopular
Not deviating from his image, the house speaker is still unpopular for more than 10 waves, accordingly, he is one of the three most unpopular presidents.
After eleven successive waves of inquiries, his unpopularity has not changed significantly.
The House speaker has never been able to raise the bar of his popularity.
Worse, for the 11th wave, Rached Ghannouchi loses 2 popularity points as opposed to the tenth wave: 88% of respondents are dissatisfied with his performance.
Kais Saied,the most popular preisdnet
For this eleventh wave, the president of the republic is the most popular president. his popularity rating has improved significantly for 3 waves already: wave 9, 10 and 11.
Admittedly, 50% of respondents are satisfied with its performance as opposed to 40% during wave 10.
Kaïes Saïed, therefore, obtains 10 popularity points compared to the previous wave.
In just 3 months, the President of the Republic has almost doubled his popularity rating.
Hichem Mechichi a stabilized unpopularity
Hichem Mechichi’s popularity has not grown since the 10th Wave.
78% of respondents are still dissatisfied with the prime minister, an unpopularity that is stabilizing.
The principal reasons for dissatisfaction are the lack of confidence and program:
For Rached Ghannouchi: 81% are dissatisfied because they do not trust him. A course that has been sustained since the third wave.
For Kaïs Saïed: 63% of those dissatisfied are so because he has no program (he is flying blind).
For Hichem Mechichi: 51% are dissatisfied because he does not possess a program. while 50% do not trust him.
