Following a meeting chaired by Culture Minister Habib Ammar, it was decided to suspend the international cultural festivals of Carthage and Hammamet. The ministry has decided to set up a diverse cultural and artistic program outside these two festivals and bringing together a great number of Tunisian artists and shows that will be programmed for the commencement of the new cultural season while taking into the record the progression of the health situation.
He additionally declared the programming of an online meeting in the following days with artists, creators and parties active in the cultural sector in order to explore the supplementary measures that will be adopted to help them confront this economic crisis. which has hit the players in this sector hard.
